Plymouth Raiders bounced back from a 90-67 thrashing at Newcastle Eagles on Friday to beat Durham Wildcats 80-75 on Saturday in their North East road trip.

Raiders were outclassed from the start by Newcastle, losing the first quarter 24-8 and never recovering, with Lehmon Colbert (19) top-scoring for Plymouth.

But Plymouth recovered 24 hours later as they beat Durham by five points.

The Raiders came back from 55-45 down in the third quarter with an 18-4 run which set up their 80-75 win.

Last season's BBL MVP Jeremy Bell waded in with 31 points for Plymouth.

The results leave the Raiders fifth in the BBL Championship standings with two wins from four games.
