Plymouth Raiders look to build on BBL Cup loss
Plymouth Raiders head coach Gavin Love is confident that his side can build on their BBL Cup final loss.
The Raiders went down 115-94 to Newcastle, who are one of the most successful clubs in British basketball.
"We're in the other three championships and we're going to have a good season regardless of even if we don't win anything," Love told BBC Radio Devon.
Plymouth are fifth in the BBL Championship and play in the semi-finals of the BBL Trophy next month.
The club won their one and only title in 2007 when they beat Newcastle in the BBL Trophy final.
"It's hard to do," added Love. "We've won one trophy in nine or 10 years so it's not going to come at a click of a finger, but we're working hard to get it.
"Our fans are amazing. We've got a great club, a great organisation, and we're really making good strides to becoming great.
"I'm going to do everything I can to put us up there with Newcastle.
"We've put expectations on ourselves that we want to win every single game, but at the end of the day we're doing very well."
