Callington go top of Cornwall Premier League

Callington have moved top of Cornwall's Premier League after an eight-wicket win over defending champions Paul.

The 2010 winners were dismissed for a paltry 99 in 47.5 overs at, before Callington raced past the required target in 30.4 overs.

Truro are second having beaten Newquay by 53 runs at Newquay's Sport Centre.

Kyle Van Rooyen top scored with 75 to help Truro to 163 all out, before Newquay were dismissed for 110, Andrew Fairman taking 5-32.

St Just have gone third after an eight wicket win over Falmouth, while St Austell overcame Grampound Road by four wickets.

Monday's final match between Werrington and Troon ended in a draw after a delayed start.
