Old Victorians and Odey take control of their groups

Old Victorians and Odey ORs are top of their groups in the Channel Island Cricket League after winning their top-of-the-table clashes.

In Group A OVs thrashed Farmers-Caesareans by 110 runs to book themselves a place in the knockout stages and keep their unbeaten record.

Odey ORs had an even more convincing victory over Wanderers to book their knockout place.

They hit 302-7 before bowling Wanderers out for 99 to register a 203-run win.

Elsewhere St Ouen moved above Argyll Investment into third place in Group A after beating them by 82 runs at the FB Fields.

Springfield registered an eight-wicket win over Cobo at Grainville to go second in Group B.
