Hampshire seam bowler James Tomlinson has signed a new two-year deal at the Rose Bowl club.

Tomlinson, 29, was the county's leading wicket-taker in 2010 and will now remain with Hampshire until the end of the 2013 season.

He joins fellow bowler David Balcombe and all-rounder Dimitri Mascarenhas in committing his future to the Second Division side.

"I'm over the moon. I'm looking forward to the next couple of years," he said.
