Richards responds to Ramdin note

Sir Viv Richards reveals he is "glad" Denesh Ramdin was motivated by his criticism of the West Indies batsmen after the wicketkeeper completed his second century in 44 Tests during the third Test at Edgbaston.

Ramdin held up a note carrying the message "Yeah Viv Talk Nah" after scoring his hundred, apparently in response to the comments, but Richards explains there was "no sentiment" behind his criticisms and believes Ramdin should be "happy and humble" with the achievement.

Ramdin shared a last-wicket stand of 143 with Tino Best, who hit the highest score by a number 11 in Test history with a blistering attack on the England bowling.
