VIEWS FROM THE COMMENTARY BOX

BBC Radio Wales' Edwards Bevan:

"When Michael Hogan trapped Ashley Prince in the penultimate over of the day, the pendulum swung Glamorgan's way with the visitors still trailing by 15 runs.

"Glamorgan's first-innings lead of 119 was a huge bonus on a pitch where the seamers have prospered throughout.

"Lancashire will hope Simon Katich, who has played a patient innings, can ensure his side a sizeable lead and it will require all of his experience to keep the visitors in the game."

BBC Radio Lancashire's Scott Read:

"It was a shame for Lancashire that they lost Ashwell Prince late on. The South African had played beautifully alongside Simon Katich as The Red Rose fought hard to stay in the game.

"Much will depend on Katich on Friday morning if Lancashire are to get something from this game.

"With an attack of Anderson, Chapple, Hogg and Kerrigan, Lancashire will still have a part to play if the middle order can get runs on the board."
