Hodgson ponders "difficult" selection

England manager Roy Hodgson says selecting his 23-man squad for the World Cup in Brazil will be "a very difficult job", after their 1-0 friendly win over Denmark at Wembley.

Liverpool striker Daniel Sturridge headed in a late winner in England's last final match before Hodgson names his provisional World Cup squad.

Ashley Cole and Luke Shaw played 45 minutes each at left-back, and Hodgson says neither "did any harm" to their selection chances after both played "very well".
