BBC Sport - Cricket World Cup 2015: My best West Indies match - Chris Gayle

Gayle delighted by 'best' innings

West Indies batsmen Chris Gayle describes his World Cup record-breaking innings of 215 runs against Zimbabwe as "the best one" of his career.

The left hander also recorded the fastest ever ODI 200 (off 138 balls), as he and batting partner Marlon Samuels produced the best limited overs partnership of all time (372) to help beat Pool B rivals Zimbabwe in Canberra.

Gayle also managed a record-equalling 16 sixes as his side won by 73 runs via the Duckworth-Lewis method.
