BBC Sport - Cricket World Cup 2015: UAE v Ireland thriller in numbers

Records broken in Gabba thriller

Ireland record the third-highest successful run chase in ODIs at Brisbane Cricket Ground, as they beat United Arab Emirates by two wickets in a thrilling match.

Records were broken by both sides as Shaiman Anwar and Amjad Javed recorded the highest seventh-wicket stand in World Cup history with 107 runs, while Kevin O'Brien scored Ireland's fastest ODI 50 (off 25 balls).

Ireland, who have two wins from their opening two Pool B games, next face South Africa in Canberra on 3 March.
