The North West Warriors remain top of the Inter-Pro table after drawing the latest three-day game against the Northern Knights at Bready.

After resuming on 98-6 in reply to the Knights's 167, a 138-partnership between Andy McBrine and Graeme McCarter helped the Warriors post 264.

McBrine top-scored with 76 with McCarter contributing 72.

An unbeaten 62 from Rassie van der Dussen helped the Knights reach 124-2 as the game petered out into a draw.

Knights bowler James Cameron-Dow dismissed McBrine and McCarter to finish with the remarkable figures of 8-98 - the best ever bowling return in the competition.

Cameron-Dow improved on his own previous best of 7-107 also against the Warriors at Eglinton last year.

The Warriors top the table on 30 points having played three matches, ahead of the Knights who have 16 from two.

Defending champions Leinster Lightning have 6.5 points from their only game played to date.

The Warriors and the Knights meet again on Friday in a T20 Trophy game which starts at Belmont at 17:00 BST.
