BBC Sport - Matt Prior: England's Joe Root praises former wicketkeeper

I'm proud I played with Prior - Root

Former England wicketkeeper Matt Prior has announced his retirement from all forms of cricket.

England batsman Joe Root tells the BBC's Joe Wilson that he was "proud" to have played alongside the Sussex keeper.

Prior won 79 Test caps for England and helped them to three Ashes series victories between 2009 and 2013 but has not played any cricket since July 2014 because of a recurring Achilles tendon injury.
