MCCA Trophy: Cornwall beat Berkshire to make semi-finals

Cornwall are through to the semi-finals of the Minor Counties Knockout Trophy after a seven-wicket victory over Berkshire at Truro.

Having won the toss, Cornwall bowled out the visitors for 174 in 48.3 overs, with Christian Purchase taking 3-35.

Antony Angrove then hit 73 not out off 83 balls as Cornwall reached their target off 39.5 overs for the loss of three wickets.

Cornwall will travel to Hertfordshire in the semi-finals on 26 July.

The Duchy began their Minor Counties Championship campaign with a 108-run win over Herefordshire last week, having been knocked out of the Twenty20 tournament last month.
