Glamorgan were outclassed by Sussex as the visitors romped to a 10-wicket T20 win with 7.4 overs to spare.

The Welsh county managed only 115-9 from their 20 overs in Cardiff, as Chris Cooke top-scored with 45.

Young seamer Oliver Robinson led Sussex's bowling attack with 3-19.

Sussex openers Chris Nash and Luke Wright made light of the target as they both smashed unbeaten half-centuries to take the Sharks above Glamorgan into fourth place.

Visiting captain Wright saw his bowlers take immediate advantage of his decision to field as Glamorgan stumbled to 23-5 in the first seven overs.

By that stage, only Cooke had more than a single to his name with several of the top order falling to mistimed shots on a slow wicket.

Sussex fast bowler Tymal Mills took two wickets and hurried the batsmen with his pace, while there was little respite from any of the other bowlers.

Graham Wagg with 18 gave Cooke token support, while Wayne Parnell struck some firm blows in his 32 as Glamorgan crawled past the hundred mark in the penultimate over.

Any thoughts of Sussex suffering similar struggles were quickly quashed as Nash led the assault, and 67 runs came off the six power-play overs.

Wright was quick to respond with both batsmen strolling to half-centuries in the sunshine, only the part-time spin of Colin Ingram causing any difficulties.

And Wright eventually ended the match in style by smashing Ingram straight for six.

Glamorgan were left stuck on eight points from nine matches after another defeat to Essex on Friday, while Sussex claimed a second successive win before Friday's trip to Gloucestershire.
