Northern Ireland Tourism Minister Arlene Foster says that the three days of Giro d'Italia action next May will be the biggest event ever staged in the province.
"We're expecting around 150,000 visitors to come to Northern Ireland for the race," said the Minister.
"We think it's going to give us a global outreach that we've never had before."
The race begins in Belfast on Friday 9 May with three stages in Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland before the riders travel to Italy for the remaining three weeks of the event.
