BBC Sport - Tour de France 2014: Marcel Kittel on 'awesome' UK crowds

'Awesome' UK crowds delight Kittel

Giant-Shimano sprinter Marcel Kittel describes the crowds at the British Grand Depart of the Tour de France as "awesome" after winning stage three on The Mall in London.

The 26-year-old German thanks his team for a perfect lead out that put him in position to win his second stage, following up his opening-day win in Harrogate.

The Tour returns to France on Tuesday with Astana's Italian rider Vincenzo Nibali in the leader's yellow jersey and Britain's defending champion Chris Froome in fifth.
