Rachel Atherton led a Great Britain one-two in the women's UCI Mountain Bike World Cup in Fort William.

Atherton won the second downhill race of the series almost eight seconds ahead of compatriot Tahnee Seagrave and France's Emmeline Ragot in third.

The 27-year-old recovered from three crashes in qualifying on a course she described as "horrendous".

Fellow Brits Manon Carpenter and Katy Curd completed four home finishes in the top five in Scotland.

In the men's race, Gee Atherton, brother to Rachel, was the highest-placed Brit in fourth as South Africa's Greg Minnaar took victory ahead of Aaron Gwin of the United States and Colombia's Marcelo Gutierrez.
