BBC Sport - Mark Cavendish: Six Day London: 'Imagine the Tour de France indoors'

'Six-day racing is the Tour indoors'

Britain's Mark Cavendish tells BBC Sport's Matt Slater about how some of the top riders will provide the spectacle for a new cycling "nightclub experience".

Six-Day London will see cyclists compete in pairs to win laps and points over the course of nearly a week at the Lee Valley VeloPark against a backdrop of live dance music and partying fans.

'Sixes' began in London in 1878, before becoming popular in pre-war America in venues such as Madison Square Garden and returns to the city of its birth for the first time since 1980.
