BDO world champion Glen Durrant will head the field for the 32nd Isle of Man International Darts Festival, which begins in Douglas on Thursday.

Durrant, who secured his first world title at Lakeside in January, will be the number one seed.

Reigning champion Tony O'Shea, Scott Mitchell and Martin Adams are amongst 600 players gunning for titles.

Meanwhile, reigning women's world champion Lisa Ashton will defend her Isle of Man title.

Amongst those trying to topple the Lancashire player will be Lakeside runner-up Corrine Hammond from Australia and England's former world finalist Deta Hedman.

The four-day tournament also gives island-based players an opportunity to test themselves against world-class players in both singles and doubles.
