BBC Sport - Badminton Horse Trials: Niklas Bschorer sets off airbag

Rider sets off airbag after tumble

German rider Niklas Bschorer sets off his protective airbag while battling to stay on his horse at the Badminton Horse Trials.

Approaching fence 12 at The Lake, Bschorer's horse Tom Tom Go slipped and threw the German rider toward the water.

Bschorer bravely managed to stay on, but his protective jacket was triggered to inflate in the process, meaning he had to complete the ride with his airbag on.
