Derry City will be without key midfielder Barry Molloy and teenager Patrick McEleney for Friday's Premier Division clash away to Bray.

Molloy is ruled out because of an ankle injury while midfielder McEleney is completing a three-match suspension.

McEleney was banned for not travelling with the Republic of Ireland's Under-19 squad for a match against Cyprus.

"If we can win in Bray without those two players it would be brilliant," said Candystripes boss Stephen Kenny.

"Bray is a difficult venue for most teams - they have a good home record.

"Last season, they maybe lacked a bit of experience but they have added that now by signing some quality players.

"We have had some good displays but there is still room for improvement."
