Barnet 2-1 Crewe

Barnet kept their League Two survival hopes alive with a precious victory over Crewe.

Daniel Leach put the hosts in front with a fine header from Tommy Fraser's cross before Sam Deering released Izale McLeod who finished neatly for 2-0.

The Alex were given a life-line through Clayton Donaldson's penalty after Matt Parsons handled in the area.

Home keeper Sam Walker saw red in time added on for a second bookable offence but his side held out for the win.

POST-MATCH REACTION

Crewe manager Dario Gradi told BBC Radio Stoke:

"We spent the first five minutes just kicking it anywhere and until they scored - it was atrocious.

"They can play well one week and then be like this the next week.

"It is perhaps that mental ability that the top players have and the bottom players don't."
