Morecambe 1-1 Hereford

Hereford United's future in League Two is still not secure despite a draw at Morecambe.

The visitors took the lead three minutes before half-time as Steve Leslie's right-foot shot from the edge of the area beat Barry Roche.

Morecambe piled on the pressure in the second half as Phil Jevons and Danny Carlton went close.

Will Haining secured a point for the home side as he converted Scott Brown's left-wing cross.

Hereford are three points clear of second-from-bottom Barnet with two games remaining.

POST-MATCH REACTION

Hereford manager Jamie Pitman told BBC Hereford and Worcester:

"Houltie (goalkeeping coach Russell Hoult) was a great keeper in his time and Adam Bartlett has come on quite significantly since he has been here.

"I've got to say he has pulled off at least three unbelievable saves today.

"You'd like to think that someone was looking down on us today and it was going to be enough for us."
