Airdrie United 2-2 East Fife

Scottish Football League

Striker Scott Sally's late goal gave Airdrie United a hard-earned draw against East Fife at New Bloomfield.

David Muir put the visitors ahead in the 33rd minute with a cool finish, but the Diamonds were level before half-time thanks to Ryan McCord's reply.

The Fifers stepped up the pressure in the second half and on 64 minutes Steven Hislop stabbed home Muir's cross from six yards.

But Sally turned home Stevenson's low cross in the 83rd minute to equalise.
