Dundee manager Barry Smith has agreed a new three year deal to stay on as boss at the First Division club.

And he has has moved immediately to secure one of the club's brightest young stars for a similar period.

Leighton Mcintosh, 18, who broke into the first team ranks from the youth side this season, agreed a new three year deal on Wednesday.

Smith steered Dundee to safety this season, despite being deducted 25 points for going into administration.
