Lisburn Distillery have signed former Glentoran midfielder Grant Gardiner.

The Whites have also signed goalkeeper Andrew Dickey from Linfield and Andrew Ferguson from Dungannon Swifts in recent days.

Paul Muir has departed Distillery after his second spell at Ballyskeagh while other transfer news sees Conor Hagan moving from Newry City to Glenavon.

Cliftonville have signed former Newry and Portadown defender John Convery and ex-Glentoran player Peter Steele.

"I'm very pleased to have joined Cliftonville and hopefully becoming a part of something very good," said Convery.

Steele, who can operate up front or wide on the right, explained that he jumped at the chance of joining the Reds.

"I was very surprised when Tommy made contact," said the 20-year-old.

"Once I knew that Cliftonville were interested, my mind was made up - this was where I wanted to be."

Gardiner, 22, joins Neal Gawley in making the switch from the Oval outfit to the New Grosvenor club.
