Derry City moved into third position in the Premier Division thanks to a 3-0 win over Bohemians at the Brandywell.

Gareth McGlynn fired home the opener from six yards out after meeting a low ball from James McClean on 29 minutes.

Eamon Zayed turned and unleashed a stunning 25-yard shot past visiting goalkeeper Barry Murphy for the second a minute before half-time.

Zayed touched the ball past Murphy from a McClean cross in the 84th minute and McClean glanced a header wide.

Derry play Sligo Rovers at the Brandywell on Tuesday night.
