Guernsey to play first English league game at home
Guernsey FC's first ever game in the Combined Counties League will be against Knaphill on Saturday 6 August.
The Division One clash at Footes Lane will be the first time a Channel Island side has played in an English league.
The Green Lions will play three games in the first week of the season, including a midweek away match at Hartley Wintney.
"This will be a real challenge for us but we are used to those," said Guernsey manager Tony Vance.
"We are really looking forward to the visit of Knaphill and we will give them a friendly Guernsey welcome.
"But I want them to fly home knowing that we are not just a beautiful island but that we have a football team that plays hard and fair and always gives 100%," he added.
Club director Mark le Tissier says the interest in the new Guernsey club, both locally and from further afield, has been surprising.
"I don't think we quite expected as much attention as we've been getting.
"It's been absolutely fantastic and we've been getting inquiries not just from people in Guernsey but people in the UK wanting to come over and watch games."
