The Republic of Ireland's Euro 2012 qualifier against Andorra on 7 October is likely to be moved to Barcelona.

This follows the Football Association of Ireland's discussions with the Andorran FA over the quantity of Irish fans likely to travel to the game.

"The Andorran Football Association has written to Uefa to request that the Euro 2012 qualification match be played in Barcelona," said an FAI statement.

"The FAI will notify fans when Uefa make a decision."

The Republic of Ireland currently lead their Euro 2012 qualifying group.
