Nigeria's Kalu Uche
Swiss side Neuchatel Xamax are looking to Nigeria's Kalu Uche to help solve their goal scoring problems this season

Nigeria forward Kalu Uche has joined Swiss club Neuchatel Xamax from Spanish second-tier team Almeria.

Uche has signed a two-year contract with the club but no transfer fee was disclosed.

The 28-year-old scored two goals for Nigeria at the World Cup last year in South Africa against Greece and South Korea.

He is also in the Super Eagles squad for their friendly against Ghana in the English town of Watford next Tuesday.

Neuchatel are struggling at the bottom of the Swiss league after just three games and have yet to score a single goal this season.
