Plymouth skipper Carl Fletcher confident in young squad
Plymouth Argyle captain Carl Fletcher says the club's young squad is hungry to succeed in League Two as they aim to put off field issues to one side.
The Pilgrims are still in administration as they prepare to visit Shrewsbury Town on Saturday.
"They're all good players but they're probably lacking on first team games," Fletcher told BBC Radio Devon.
"But they're all hungry and they all want to be here and they want to do well for the club."
Fletcher added: "There's only a couple of us over 30, one is 26 and I think the rest are under 23,"
Argyle were forced to release many of their established players at the end of last season following their relegation to League Two.
"It's a small squad, it's going to be a tough season, and we've got to have a bit of luck with injuries and suspensions, but there's a lot of good young players out there," said the 31-year-old.
"I know we're having our troubles but it's still a very good club to be at once that all gets sorted out."
