Nolan hungry for West Ham success
- From the section Football
West Ham's Kevin Nolan says the club must get back in to the Premier League at the first attempt, as he prepares for the start of the Championship season.
Nolan tells Football Focus he was attracted to Upton Park by the "hunger" of the club's owners and fans, and the chance to be reunited once again with manager Sam Allardyce.
The midfielder also says he had expected to finish his career at Newcastle, before "broken promises" led to his departure from St James's Park in June.
