Dundee 1-1 Ayr United

Scottish Football League

Jake Hyde's first-half equaliser denied Ayr United a first win of the season as Dundee secured a draw at Dens Park.

Ayr took the lead through a Michael Moffat header via Micheal McGowan's right wing cross in the 14th minute.

Dundee equalised on the half hour when Hyde latched on to Jamie McCluskey's pass to shoot home.

In a second half of few chances, Matthew Lockwood should have won it for Dundee six minutes from time but headed over from close-range.
