Hodgson happy with first win of season
- From the section Football
West Brom boss Roy Hodgson is pleased with his team's display as they eke out a 1-0 win at Norwich City to earn their first Premier League win if the season.
Peter Odemwingie put the Baggies in front after just three minutes, and although the Nigerian went on to miss a second-half penalty, Hodgson expresses relief at holding on for all three points.
He also apologises for an apparent elbow in the face by Gabriel Tamas on James Vaughan in the penalty area, but insists it was "accidental."
