Exeter City manager Paul Tisdale is unhappy with striker Daniel Nardiello after he was sent off at Charlton.

The 28-year-old was given a straight red card after confronting the linesman when City were denied what they thought was a goal.

"I feel particularly frustrated that Daniel's chosen to continue his criticism of the linesman to the point where he's sent off," Tisdale said.

Nardiello's red card means he will miss City's next three matches.

With the club already without injured strikers Guillem Bauza and John O'Flynn, Nardiello's ban was sarcastically described to BBC Radio Devon as 'perfect, just what we need,' by a frustrated TisdaleBBC Radio Devon.

But he was full of praise for the rest of his side who had to play with ten men for 70 minutes.

"The players tried their absolute socks off and there were some nice pockets of play," he said.
