Oldham 0-2 Brentford

Brentford earned a fourth consecutive away win as they beat Oldham despite ending the game with 10 men.

Oldham's Reuben Reid almost scored first when he broke free, but saw his effort saved superbly by Richard Lee.

The visitors took the lead against the run of play through Jonathan Douglas' first-time volley from outside the box.

Brentford's Miguel Llera then received a second yellow for a handball but victory was secured when Myles Weston converted Niall McGinn's cross.

VIEWS FROM THE DRESSING ROOM

Oldham manager Paul Dickov told BBC Radio Manchester:

We dropped our standards - Dickov

"From start to finish we dropped our standards.

"The standards we set at Walsall and (Leyton) Orient weren't there today.

"The frustrating thing is - even not playing well - we still had more possession and the better chances."
