Rovers display deserved more - Parry

Tranmere manager Les Parry told BBC Radio Merseyside:

"I'm just gutted for the lads because of the amount of effort they've put into that game and I don't think Preston will have a harder win here this season.

"Jose Baxter showed his quality, he's played some great balls, brought a good save from the keeper at the end of the first half and scored a goal.

"We thought we were on top for large parts of the game, but if we'd have just sat off them, gone for the draw and lost, we'd have been devastated."
