Barrow 1-0 Lincoln City

Blue Square Bet Premier

Richie Baker's penalty hoisted 10-man Barrow into the top half of the Blue Square Bet Premier table with a victory over Lincoln.

Daniel Hone handled in the box on the stroke of half-time and Baker buried the penalty into the bottom corner.

Louis Almond almost made it two but his header was brilliantly saved by Joe Anyon.

Barrow ended with 10 men after Andy Cook saw red for a reckless challenge on Josh Gowling.

VIEWS FROM THE DRESSING ROOM

Lincoln City manager Steve Tilson tells BBC Lincolnshire:

"We dominated the first 43 minutes and then conceded a poor penalty and then never got into it.

Tilson blasts second-half display

"We're getting in more areas and have to be more clinical we've got to believe we can score a goal."
