Exeter City loanee Jake Taylor says he is aiming to score goals for the club.

Taylor, 19, joined the Grecians on a month's loan earlier this week as manager Paul Tisdale looks to boost his side's goalscoring threat.

"I want to come here, play games, obviously score goals and help the team get out of the position they're in," Taylor told BBC Radio Devon.

Exeter's only strike in their last four games was an own goal by Notts County's Alan Sheehan.

"We need attacking options, he's a very bright attacking player and above all has a very good recommendation from Reading, who we trust," manager Paul Tisdale added.

And Taylor, who spent a month on loan at Aldershot earlier this season, says it is a great chance to experience first-team football.

"Playing week-in, week-out in League football, there's nothing better than going out and experiencing that.

"Playing against people that have been there and done it all is much better for your progression," he added.
