Exeter City 'not good enough', says Richard Duffy

Richard Duffy says Exeter City have not been good enough so far this season.

The Grecians lie second-from-bottom of League One and no City player has scored a goal for a month.

"We're not where we are because we've not had any luck, it's because we've not been good enough," Duffy told BBC Radio Devon.

"The manager and the team, we've all got to do better and try to take it on to the game on Saturday," the Welsh international defender added.

Duffy has been an ever-present in the City line-up this season, with the Grecians not winning a League One match since beating Chesterfield on 27 August.

"The table doesn't lie, we're second from bottom, struggling for points and goals and conceding too many," he added.

"But we've got to stay positive and try and get ourselves out of where we are as quick as we can."
