Big wins for Celtic, Hamilton Accies & Spartans

Women's football

Celtic took advantage of Hibernian's inactivity by beating Forfar and moving up to second in the Scottish Women's Premier League.

Suzanne Grant scored twice in the 5-0 rout while Diana Barry and Kirsty McLaughlin fired doubles in Spartans' 7-1 hammering of Hutchison Vale.

Lorraine Cadden netted a hat-trick as Inverness defeated Falkirk 3-0.

Susan Fairlie also claimed a treble as Hamilton Accies matched Spartans' score against bottom club Kilmarnock.

Newly-crowned champions Glasgow City, like Hibernian, were not in action.
