Queen's Park 3-1 Montrose

Scottish Football League

A brace from Jamie Longworth helped Queen's Park see off struggling Montrose in Division Three.

The visitors took the lead in the 30th minute when striker Martin Boyle unleashed a right-footed drive that beat goalkeeper Neil Parry.

But, early in the second half, Queen's Park equalised when Paul McGinn's cross found the head of Michael Daly in the six-yard box and midfielder nodded home.

With 10 minutes remaining, Longworth smashed a right-footed shot from distance past goalkeeper Michael Andrews to put Queen's Park ahead.

The midfielder scored again from close range after 87 minutes, confirming the Spiders' second home win of the season.
