Portadown 1-1 Coleraine

Portadown moved to the top of the Irish Premiership but will be disappointed at taking just one point from their home game against Coleraine.

The Ports trailed when Ciaran Clarke's long-range effort beat home goalkeeper David Miskelly in the 10th minute.

Tim Mouncey pounced for Portadown's equaliser on 56 minutes after Keith O'Hara's cross had been headed down by Jamie Tomelty.

The Ports are a point ahead of Linfield who play Glentoran on Monday night.

It was a first league draw of the season for Ronnie McFall's men who can have few complaints after an uninspiring display.

They did fight back after going behind to that goal from former Limavady United midfielder Clarke.

Kevin Braniff put an effort wide and then clipped the Bannsiders' crossbar with a well-struck shot from distance.

After Mouncey's goal, Portadown's top scorer Matthew Tipton hit the bar with a looping header.
