Rochdale 0-2 Leyton Orient

Leyton Orient extended their unbeaten run to seven games with an away victory at Rochdale.

Jimmy Smith headed his side in front early on, rising highest to meet Dean Cox's corner.

Rochdale did have the goal in the back of the net early in the second half, but Andrew Tutte's effort was disallowed for a foul in the build-up.

However, Orient's victory was assured when David Mooney calmly slotted home from Jamie Cureton's pull-back.

VIEWS FROM THE DRESSING ROOM

Leyton Orient manager Russel Slade told BBC London 94.9:

Slade pleased with disciplined away win

"I felt we looked really positive on the counter-attack today.

"We are scoring now, there is no doubt about that, we're starting to score goals now so that is really pleasing but what pleased me most of all is the clean sheet.

"It is also positive we have got players returning from injuries."
