Bradford City have agreed a new 20-month contract with teenage winger Dominic Rowe.

The Leeds-born 18-year-old, who signed a one-year deal last summer, is now tied to the Bantams until the end of the 2012-13 season.

Rowe is currently on loan at Blue Square Bet Premier side Barrow, where he has started the last five matches.

A graduate from City's youth system, Rowe featured in two first team matches last season when still an apprentice.

He told the club's website: "It is great to have the stability of a longer deal behind me.

"Hopefully it will allow me to kick on. I'm enjoying my time at Barrow, but my main aim is to get into the starting 11 here [at Bradford]."
