Kidderminster Harriers have signed young keeper Tony Breeden from Southern League Premier Division side Leamington.

Breeden, 23, who has also played for Rushall Olympic and Tamworth, will challenge Dean Lyness for the number one jersey at Aggborough.

"Tony is still a young age," Harriers boss Steve Burr told the club website. "But he has played a lot of football.

"I've seen him play and have always been very impressed."

He added: "The opinion of a lot of people in the game I respect greatly is that he is an excellent goalkeeper."

Harriers have slumped to 12th in the Blue Square Bet Premier table after a run of just one win in five league matches, during which time they have shipped 12 goals.
