Lincoln boss David Holdsworth makes 'last chance' threat

Holdsworth has called for discipline and a tougher mentality from his players

Lincoln City manager David Holdsworth says Saturday's match against Barrow at Sincil Bank may be the final chance for some of his squad to prove themselves.

"I did say I'd give people a chance," Holdsworth told BBC Lincolnshire. "But, on Saturday, for some of them it may be their last chance.

"I like nice players and silky football but we're in a dogfight. If they're not up to it, there are plenty who are."

The Imps go into the game in the Blue Square Bet Premier's bottom four.

And Holdsworth admits: "We need to ruffle a few feathers.

"Are we good enough at the moment? No. We have to change and we will do."
