Aberdeen striker Rory Fallon wins appeal but remains banned
Aberdeen striker Rory Fallon has had his red card from Saturday's game against Rangers rescinded, but he will still suffer a one-game suspension.
The New Zealander was sent off by referee Willie Collum for apparently elbowing defender Doran Goian.
The Scottish Football Association decided it was not violent conduct and downgraded it to a yellow card.
But, as it he had already been booked in the game, it is still a sending off offence.
Aberdeen manager Craig Brown claimed there was "no way that was a deliberate elbow in the face" and the SFA's fast-track tribunal agreed.
