AFC Telford 0-0 Mansfield

Mansfield had goalkeeper Alan Marriott to thank for their point away at lowly AFC Telford.

The Bucks started brightly with Richard Davies striking the bar from distance with a powerful effort and Marriott saving well from Craig Farrell.

Mansfield came into the contest in the second period, Matthew Green going close on a couple of occasions.

Marriott made fine stops to deny Davies and Stephen Jones late on to preserve his clean sheet.

VIEWS FROM THE DRESSING ROOM

Mansfield Town manager Paul Cox told BBC Radio Nottingham:

Cox bemoans Stags' lack of creativity

"We just lacked a cutting edge and an end product. The lads have worked hard but we didn't create.

"Our delivery in the box wasn't good, our end product was nothing today. That's sometimes down to a bit of quality in depth.

"We've got good players and you want quality in your squad."
