Confidence 'running through us', says Torquay boss Ling

Torquay United manager Martin Ling says his team are full of confidence following Saturday's .

The Gulls' fourth win in succession has set them up for on 3 December.

"Everything we did went well," Ling told BBC Radio Devon. "Confidence is running through us really highly.

"Four wins on the trot, second round of the Cup and a little bit of money. That makes it a bit easier for everybody."

Ling highlighted the performance of his back four, despite the concession of their first goal in four matches at the B2Net Stadium.

"Defensively we were solid again," added Ling. "Mark Ellis was awesome and headed every ball and, alongside him, Brian Saah did the same.

"I thought it was a superb performance. I think the best side won."
